Unusually different from other surface lures, the Basara has a freely attached titanium blade on top of the head that when retrieved generates a high pitched roll and causes the body to vibrate violently. The blade creates a ferocious surface splatter that represents a fleeing baitfish while the high pitch vibrating body sends out a distress call to hungry gamefish to come a hunt me down. Fitted with titanium components and comes standard with Owner ST 46 hooks, the Basara is ready to fish straight from the box.
Perfect for all surface pelagic predatory fish, for maximum results the Basara is best fished with a horizontal rod tip parallel or just under the water surface with a maximum leader length of 150cm’s.
